I did a lot of white balance in acr globally and localized with the adjustment brush including bringing down the over blown area above the painting with the gradient tool.

I also combined the 3 exposures into Merge To HDR Pro in the Bridge to make a 32 bit tiff which I put back into acr to do more fine tuning.
