Drop Shadow question

I'm working on a photo montage and keep running into this...

I've got many different layers, on some of them I have drop shadows. But if I change the Drop Shadow properties for one layer, those properties are changed for ALL the layers that have Drop Shadows.

I even took one of the layers into a new document, setup the Drop Shadow there and duplicated it back into my original document, but the angle, etc changed to match what was already there.

What am I doing wrong? Or how can I do this?

Thanks

Just a thought off the top of my head so I don't know if this will work or not so...... try locking the layers you don't want changed.

Unclick "global" under lighting.

jrolinc,

In your dialog box, if Use Global Light is checked it will keep the same angle for all of your drop shadows. So just uncheck this and you will get your desired result.
