hi kim,

it all depends on how much work you want to put into it. flora has some great examples around the forums on fixing overexposure, whether it's partial or full on the pic. if it's really badly overexposed, where the images are just 'blown out', it becomes more of a restoration and colorization task, but it can be done.

you might want to start a new thread and post an image of one you want to correct. and, have a look around at the retouch/restoration forum. i know there's one or two blown out images there that have been worked on quite well.

Hi Craig,
Do you know which one off hand ? I've been searching using the SEARCH function for that kind of threads but didn't really find any that works

I'd like to learn the techniques first and if I can't reach to the point I'd like then (I mean if it doesn't work) then I'd post up for help

Thanks

this one has some data also: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/photo-retouching/10784-over-exposed-picture.html
