Hi Saikat, welcome back. Had a quick play with your image as follows.

Opened Original, and made selection round hands and lower arm of girl.
Copied, and pasted to touched up image.

Had to resize selection due to disparity in sizes of the images (you probably won't have to do this as both your originals will probably be the same size.)

Applied layer mask, and masked pasted hand and arm to blend better with underlying layer.

Adjusted background layer with levels adjustment layer to get rid of blow out on white.

Finally adjusted pasted layer opacity to blend as well as possible.

Hope this helps.

Hi Saikat, Gary,

Gary,
it seems we have very similar lines of work!!!

Saikat,
nice to see you back!

Your 'reconstruction' work is outstanding!!!

I did the same as Gary but the other way around ... meaning I copied and pasted the corrected part of the picture on the original .... after that I copied and pasted parts of the original arm on the corrected one trying different blendings and adjusting Opacity, to get back some texture and dimension.
Finally I used the Curves and some light airbrushing to balance and enhance shadows, highlights and midtones.
