Create a Believable Sun Rays??

Can someone point me to a tutorial for creating light rays?

here's an interesting way. I did it a little different...used 2 grid lines to find center, made the black layer the background and second layer the picture. After making the rays, I set the ray layer to Screen mode and blurred.

I put together a quick example on another quick method to create sunlight rays.

here is a video you might like...it does a similar edit but makes adjustments for each ray (starts about the middle of the movie).

Hi cspringer - that very similiar to my method, it was also the same tutorial that inspired my Shark image - Bert Rocks !!

To any anyone that wants to explore every little bit of Photoshop, i highly recommend subscribing to Lynda's website. Its invaluable.
