Need Alternate Craquelure

I am really hoping someone will be able to help me out with this one!
I am trying to create a realistic craquleure texture on a large print for a client. She is trying to match a craquelure created using a texture screen on negatives so it has been difficult. I have found Photoshop 7's craquelure texture to be too uniform.. it ends up looking like a grid from a distance on the large print. I have had some success with using Painter 7 and painting over their crackle-y textued paper, but still not very realistic.
Does anyone have any ideas on alternates using these programs or any others for that matter??
Thanks in advance!!

Worth a try

Thanks for the links! I've downloaded some of those filters and am seeing what I can recreate. If nothing else, I got new toys
