| Batch conversion using custom color table? Howdy folks, hopefully someone will have a suggestion or two for me! I'm trying to convert a large group of images to PICT files using a specific color table. (Must be in the same order, as well) I am applescripting Photoshop currently for this but it's a bit of a hassle to redo the actions whenever we need to change a color. I'd like to be able to have a seperate file for the color table (.act, .txt, .clut, whatever really...) and a stand-alone program for the conversion. Is there a way to convert these images using any programming language that is Mac OS 9 friendly... Java? Basic? Or perhaps is there a program that can be used to force a specific color table? On OSX I tried using ImageMagick but that did not keep the color table in the same order and OSX just isn't available for the place I work at the present time. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |

| Greetings... I would think where you want to go is scriptable, but it's far beyond my meager abilities. Here are two very good scripting resources if you have not discovered them yet: · A great scripting webite resource started by Andrew Hall: http://www.ps-scripts.com · Adobe.com - Photoshop Scripting forum: http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.ef7ec95 Hope this helps a little. ~Danny~ |
