convert from RGB to CMYK

Hello,
Apart from Photoshop, do you know if any program can convert pictures from RGB to CMYK?
Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Sylvia

This may help
It will extract the CMY plates and reassemble them back together.

Hi Ken
I can't fool around, I work for a newspaper and can't take chances with my work (don't want to get fired if I screw up!).
So far, the only program that I know of is Photoshop, but we need to update all the computers and that program is SO expensive, I wondered if there was any other choice.
Thanks for your suggestion,
Sylvia
