Re: What colour temp?

I have run everything between 5600 and 9300 but found optimum results are at 6500 for my lighting and viewing conditions.
Regards, Murray

Re: What colour temp?

It depends on your output. You want to calibrate your monitor to simulate where your images will be printed. 5300 used to be standard for magazines, etc., but that's improving. 6500 is a good compromise for inkjet, etc. 9000+ would be if your audience is largely viewing on uncalibrated monitors (ie: the web).

Re: What colour temp?

Interesting discussion...when shooting with a camera where do most individuals shoot their color temperature - especially when not shooting Raw.
