Your biggest prints

I was mulling over an image idea today when it occurred to me that the only way it would work was as a truly massive print. This, in turn, got me wondering what's the largest print you've ever made of one of your own images?

I've had some of my graphic work printed truly huge for billboards and other signage, but the largest one of my actual single images has been printed was 24x30. And that was a silver print, done in my darkroom.

I just had a giclee done at 40 x 28. Does that count?

we do a lot of banners at my day job, and the AD's like to see a printout at 100%, may it be just a portion of the banner, we just roll 'em right out of the HP inkjet we have, average proof is usually our 35" width max, by like 5 or 6 feet.

largest piece i've worken on though, would be a piece for stolichnaya vodka, it was a red vertical gift box, that hung 8 stories in times square. was a cool project, we actually had the bow made up of this heavy plastic material, i cant remember exactly what it was, and attached to the box, instead of trying to print the illusion.

Does this make me think back.

In my B+W darkroom I have attempted 24x30. The problems of paper plane vs. film plane vs. building shake did not let it happen. The biggest I was really successful were a few 16x20s.

Now I have gone digital and I have a 4800 Epson but I have only done a couple 16x20 on 17x22 paper for my amature purposes, I see no reason to try for more. If I do, I will use one of the fine commercial houses.
