Archkre...

Need a little more info. Mac/PC? type of mouse? Operating System?

Photoshop does allow for scrolling with the mouse so it sounds like a mouse/driver problem. Photoshop should recognize whatever you OpSys is set up for.

Re: I can't "Pan" with the wheel of my mouse!

normally, on a pc, panning can be done with the middle mouse button, mouse3. this is often the mouse wheel on current mouses, meece, mice, mices. if you have a mouse wheel type, try pressing down on the mouse wheel. newer ones often have a switch under the wheel which will activate the pan feature. presss down once for pan mode and press again for unactivate it.

but, like swampy said, pc, mac, type of wheel, application you're trying to use this with???? and, did you install any software with the mouse when you added the mouse to your machine?

Re: I can't "Pan" with the wheel of my mouse!

On a PC (its all I know) go to the Photoshop Preferences "Ctrl+K" and select "Zoom with scroll wheel". This allows zooming in and out. If to place your cursor over any of the scroll bars when they appear, and then move the wheel it will scroll up or/down/ left or right depending on which you are over.
Hope this helps.
