| Prints too dark at CVS Hi, I fixed up a picture for my aunt and printed it on some glossy paper I have laying around. The toning was fine, but my Epson R340 was banding pretty bad so I took the file to CVS. I got a nice, clear print, but the tone was a lot darker than I wanted and what I see on my screen. (I have a 20 inch intel iMac.) FYI, when I print at home, I keep the print settings normal, if I switch to glossy or photo paper in the print dialogue, I also get a darker output. This is really perplexing. Do I need to drastically increase the brightness in photoshop to get the pics to print the way I want them? The levels are good, so I don't think I want to play with that anymore. Any advice on this issue would be great. Thanks. |
