Wink Matchprint needs colorbars(color pallet/chart)?

Hi,

I am making matchprint for magazine client in Japan.

I am going to print at the print lab so I will use their color profile when i will print matchprint....
It's really classic way and I can just try to match what i see in their screen and my screen and print as a match-guide for them.

I just remembered I added color bar on the side of image when i worked at photo studio and i wonder if i need it (and I dont have the color bar file with me). if so, where i can get the color chart file. And If I will get the color bar with some CMYK profile, can we use it for printing at the lab's profile?

Thank you!

Re: Matchprint needs colorbars(color pallet/chart)

Hi Pippo, I've been watching this thread with interest, to see if somebody could help you.

I don't have any experience with matchprint, and in truth I don't really understand your question, but I think it's probably a good idea to add a colour bar if you can.

However, I don't think a CMYK colour bar is going to help.
