I need some ideas please

Been a while but I still read here, but I bought a Canon IP4200 printer, I am using PS 7, but after I do my retouching in PS and I print on photopaper the picture is all jacked up color wise, it does not even come close to matching whats on my screen, how can I fix this cheap and easy?

Most likely something wrong with your color management. What color space are you editing in? Have you embedded a color profile into the image? When issue the print command, make sure in your Output options you have selected "Printer Manages Color".
Check all your settings. Pg 478 of your user manual will have additional information on the various settings.

Make sure your monitor is properly calibrated, as a starting point.

I had the same probleme a few months ago and donīt find a solution. When my husband took a look on the printer, the magenta color was empty (or too dry). He changed the bottels (I donīt have the english word for it) and it was fixed.
