I don't think this is something that you can easily do. Your only option would probably be editing it in lightroom/etc. first and then importing it into
PS and then redoing it again in lightroom and layering it ontop of that other smart object.
Why do you need to do this in the first place? Do you have a much more current lightroom program and a much older photoshop program that wont allow the same settings as lightroom or something?
You also might want to look into "saving metadata to files" or how to save your RAW changes to the actual sidecar or dng file (if you don't already know those sorts of things)
But yeah I feel your pain because I use an older photoshop than my lightroom. So a few features are missing.
