Color Management: original to internet version, image crashes

Hey guys

No clue whatsoever why this is happening but when I convert this image:

via photoshop to an internet version.. the skirt totally crumbles, like so:

what am I doing wrong?

They both look good - exactly the same. The issue you may have when viewing the downsized one may have to do with the % zoom you are uusing. Try zooming in or out to some multiple of 25%.

the dont look the same.. the first link has clear lines in the skirt.. the second has blur..

OK, I downloaded them this time and opened then in PS. So what you have done with the smaller one is reduced its size and in doing so you have thrown away 83% of the data that is in the original. Your downsized image is only 800 x 500 pixels and there will only look good when you view it at approx 3 x 2 inches. And that is all you should expect.
