| Scanning textured photos By Doug Nelson (doug) on Monday, May 21, 2001 - 07:53 pm: I just read a tip that sounds interesting, but I'm too lazy to try it (actually, I don't have the required material) The suggestion was to scan heavily textured photos through onionskin paper, then use curves to adjust the tonality. The claim is that the diffusion offered by the onionskin defeats the myriad reflections caused by the texturing. Anyone game to test this?
