who screwed you? Nothing to lose by posting their name I wouldn't have thought, might be an ongoing scam.

I don't think the name is real anyway... I know by the IP that it's from Ireland - but nothing more

Re: Support?

Digimarc is a plugin that comes with Photoshop. When you register with the company, you can then implant an "invisible" watermark on your pictures that allows you to track it when posted to the web. You might consider it in your case.

Good luck.

Re: Support?

I wonder why this woman would give the same work to two people. If she wants to rip people off, you would think she would least give them different images! Seems very strange.

That account number may be interesting to someone, if its related to retouching. Well done Skauskas.

may be to increase her chances to get free retouch at least from someone. She contacted me on 3 of August and I guess she contacted Godmother the same time too. She was just sending photos to many retouchers to get at least from one of them.

Re: Support?

I just want to know who she is, not to do anything legal, just for confrontation.

I lost 6 hours of my life, if she "gets cough" she lost a lot more than that.

Re: Support?

I just sent you PM Natalia!!
It's 100% her because the name she signed is not new at least for me. I can not believe that there is nothing in UK law that allow us to get her.

I did some googling and found this website http://www.iwf.org.uk/. Internet watch foundation. The UK Hotline for reporting illegal content. May be not exactly what we need but it's a good start! What do you think?

Re: Support?

I wrote a letter to this organisation http://www.e-victims.org/. (founded it on http://www.iwf.org.uk/). Hopefully we will get some info from them.
Natalia, was it the same IP address?

Re: Support?

I've received the answer from this organization.

Quote:
We are a UK based charity so I can't give you advise for Sweden.

But in the UK this would be a breach of contract. So, it is a civil
matter and you would have to take this person to small claims court.
Which is easy to do and you don't need a lawyer.

If you don't know the real and address you would first have to get a
court order to have the Internet Service Provider release that
information.
When I wrote her that IP was from Ireland she replied
Quote:
It doesn't matter the jurisdiction is in the country that where the contract
took place that would be with you - the service provider.

The IP address could be either Northern Ireland (UK) or Ireland. Northen
Ireland is under UK law. Ireland is it's own country.
So we need to find out what to do according to our home country legislation.

Re: Support?

OMG! it's 100% her because I've found another photos she sent to me to retouch. But she never got the tiffs from me. I've sent her 2 small resolution photos without logo and 3 with logo. So she put on her flickr the ones without logos!
Now we need to think how we can proceed. It will not going to help if we just write her angry letter.

Re: Support?

Well done you two. Might be a guy too Rory is an either sex name. 'Commercial' work on the site doesn't look that commercial has to be said. Based in Liverpool not Ireland. Wonder if any of the models or others got paid either.

Apparently he is "Technically brilliant" ;-)

"his unique editorial style enable Rory to understand conceptualize and create a masterful image this has gained respect with Art Directors and editors alike, add into this the ability to Post Produce images to a high level and you have an edge over many other fashion photographers"
!

Found a Facebook page - that 'client' work that you both did may have been a cover for this … http://www.ukhairdressers.com/style/views.asp- so he/she has received payment for these.

Looks like someone else had a go at that pic, too. Check it out on his Flickr photostream. Judging from all the blurring it was probably Rory himself.
