| Test Images Just curious as to how, many of you deal with the "test"images. After putting some time into it(time is money) if you din't get the job, you rarely hear back from the lister. How do you know if you're not in the runnings for the job, or you simply got used for a free retouch. Watermarking is an option, but you also run the risk, of just ticking off the person hiring, loosing the job anyways. So, how do you guys deal with it? Thanks! |

| Re: Test Images Create a portfolio that has examples of the most of the types of challenges that need to be addressed in most retouching situations . If it is broad enough and representative enough, then that should be proof enough for your customer. I would be very cautious of people who request that you pass a skill test on their images. As for watermarking, if you you have a client who can not see past the watermark to gauge the quality of your work, find yourself another client. Regards, Murray |
