A lenticular is a printed image that shows depth or motion as the viewing angle changes.

Most people have seen this type of 3D image in a card shop (perhaps as a postcard of a religious figure). A Lenticular is a thin, portable, full color stereo picture. Thin plastic "lenses" placed over the photograph restrict the view of each eye to a particular part of the picture. Lenticulars can be composed on a computer, but can not viewed on a computer without the aid of expensive specialized attachments. Most of the images on this site involve free-viewing.

Those are really cool!

They remind me of a lenticular hologram of Jeckel/Hyde that I have. It's a real hologram, not one of those shiny sticker things like on a credit card. Anyway, it projects a solid 3D image of Jeckel/Hyde and morphs back and forth between the two as your angle to it changes. Just like the images on that site, but in 3D.
