printing in nYc

for anyone located in nyc..

-looking for a new spot to get printing done, any reccomendations would be appreciated.

-anyone know of any spots for epsons, at least 2400/colorburst rip quality.

i don't need kodak/fuji or dot simulation, just something relatively cheap with descent color.

thanks.

Beth Schiffer is good although if you are looking for match prints.... They do digital C printing and I believe they have a Kodak approval. Probably easiest to just get an Epson and a RIP yourself.

thanks ant, checking out there site right now, if i had more work from home, i would love to get the 4800/colorburst.....but cant justify the cost at the moment.

a friend has one, and loves it. saves a lot of time.

Re: printing in nYc

I don't do any printing in NYC, but I do use a service in Buffalo that can send the prints. They use Kodak RP30 and other printers for photo-process prints, and it is reasonable.

Their web site could be nicer...but the quality of their work is great.

Re: printing in nYc

I just got a bunch of CMYK files printed at lusterphoto.com on Ave A and St.Marks Epsons with a colorburst rip. The magazine said that the prints were a really good match so I guess I have found my proofing solution.
