Re: Printing You need to find someone who does sublimation. I've seen Photoshop work that has been applied to surf boards. ceramic tiles, etc. Perhaps a giclee service can do this for you since the images are ususally printed on the large format machines. It's mostly a matter of printing on the correct media for the application to a surface either through adhesives or heat.

Re: Printing Here is something fun to try might not be what your looking for, i use this stuff to do prints on wood and ect. its called MOD PODGE. Its so fun. lol. Dont underestimate it for just a weekend craft project. You can get some realy need effects. I just did some prints with my epson printer on thin matte paper and then we mod podged them onto old wood barn pannels. Its was amazing looking. I wish i would of taken a photo of the final project before i sent it the client. http://www.plaidonline.com/apMP.asp

Re: Printing I have a Epson 9800 44" wide printer and have printed on vinyl adhesive before. This can be applied to almost anything in fact people in LA are doing custom wall paper! Just look for someplace that offers giclee printing and see what substrates they print on. (we do not offer printing on vinyl at my site) Hope this helps. ~Nancy ___________________________________________________________ www.PhotoArt123.com

Re: Printing check the ads in photoshop user magazine, several places do the type of work you're after...several places can do translites, the place listed below has a Lambda(rgb output device) and can output images to duratrans which look amazing when backlit: http://www.andresimaging.com/home.html

Re: Printing Staples will do this type of work. the cost is by the square foot. and i think, if i remember correctly, it came to about $75 for a poster size (24 x 36 inch). and on your second question, is the picture itself opaque or transparent? and if you're really interested in this, check out true flatbed printers. and i do mean true flatbeds. they run about $350,000 or so. these printers allow you to print on anything, glass, wood, plastic, you name it actually, i've been looking for a long time for a home, true flatbed at a reasonable price. it shldnt be that hard to make.
