Yeah I originally got a 38 but a few hours later (and much more care) got a 4. lol

Lot's of the issues may be determined by display used; I'm using a CRT that's 7 years old (I know; I know; I need a new one; just not willing to edit on an LCD and still waiting on either SED or OLED technology to come here).

yes, women have better color perception than men yet the printing trade is still dominated by men..go figure

I got 4 on an lousy display. I think it's more difficult when the display is better calibrated and the transitions are more gradual. My wife, a MUA got 16 on our calibrated display. She insisted I should redo the test on our own display, ... but I think I won't ... 4 is almost perfect

Yes, women traditionally do better on color tests than men! I took the industry standard Munsel color test (about 10x more complex) and got a perfect score- but that was 15 years ago. This time I only got a 3. I guess old age changes more than the focus of the eyes!

Its more of a monitor test than an eye test. I got a slightly better than average score only!

I scored a 4... but I did cheat slightly. I grabbed a piece of paper to hide the other rows. Nothing fancy, but I felt the peripheral vision thing was messing with my eyes. It could also be luck, as I found it difficult to discern differences between adjacent blocks in several areas.

4... seems like i missed something in the orange area. I blame the fact that I haven't calibrated this monitor properly (although it should be quite good).

Edit: took it again on a calibrated monitor at work. Then I scored 3, but the mistake was in the blue-green area this time.
