Controlling Inventory I sell my images on Fotolia and I have my own website where I would like to sell my prints or images on CD or download.
I need some help in organizing the whole thing. I hope somebody can help me. Right now i'm working on a spreadsheet to house my links to images. I don't know if that's the most efficient way to do this. What I'm trying to do is keep track of inventory, what's been sold and for how much and to whom. What inventory I have. What doesn't sell, etc.
The photos that are on my site are low resolution, small and watermarked. The photos sold on Fotolia are high res jpg. The photos for printing are high res tif.
If someone wants to order a high res print or whatever, I need to be able to find it quickly. For starters, I think the images should have ID numbers - perhaps starting with C for Creative, followed by a number, P for Pictoral etc.
There are lots of organizers out there but none of them do what I need done.
Any ideas?
