I have a CS4 Retouching ebook from her (mean Gry Garness) and it is great. I think that DVD must be excellent, but I always like somebody else to test it first That is why I am waiting for some reviews, before I buy it myself. Here is link for the content od DVD - U can play trailer of it as well:

Do you like his/her style
Are they teaching what you want to learn
Is it worth the money to me
Really anyone selling or advertising There lessons on here is going to show you there style.Theres no right or wrong it basically comes down to the 3 things I listed

I'm pretty sure the DVD won't disappoint. I ordered it right away and also got a discount because I also bought the e-book some time ago. Gry's results speak for themselves and I really liked her as a presenter in the RetouchPRO Live series. The book also covers some real world problems that no one else adresses. I also really like and recommend Natalia Taffarel's DVD and Amy Dresser's RetouchPRO Live sessions (when will she release a DVD?).

Would you please let me know if you believe the DVD set is worth the investment? I also have her retouching e book. I understand that you can get an additional discount if you previously purchased the ebook. Is that correct?

Easy to follow, well explained, you won't find shortcuts to do quick fixes here. But that's how a good retouch is done.
In her publishing site I think they explain in detail about the discount bit. I'm not sure about it.

I spoke to Gry about that discount. There was a time limit on it that expired.

I have bought DVD and it is ALMOST great. Tutorials are easy to follow and show You how to get to the next level of retouching - PRO LEVEL. However I do not like the way Gry dealt with the images - on the back cover u can read: "...and a limited set of training images is available as practice files." My God - it is VERY, VERY, VERY LIMITED SET OF TRAINING IMAGES !!!!! After each tutorial Gry gives U link to web pages as istockphoto.com where U can buy these photos, but if U were to download them all it would cost U a fortune !!!! That is the worst if it comes to her DVD - lack of photos so U could follow Her exactly step by step. If U can live with that - well... DVD is awesome. I am accustomed to Deke's training DVDs from Lynda, and He always got U all excercise files U needed. That is all I can say

I purchased the DVD as well and all I can say is that it's really fabulous! Gry is a really gifted teacher and it's a pleasure to see her working.
What's also nice is that she works on so many different images, that she can really cover almost everything you ever wished for in detail!
Definitively recommended by me :-)!

Highly recommended from me too! I got this about a week ago. Gry is an incredibly talanted teacher.

The customer service is also excellent. My first package got lost in the mail on the way to Sweden, but they promptly sent me a new package.

I ordered the DVD with it first came out. I do not think the DVD is pricey at all. I founded the two DVD set a polished tutorial to learn from. The sample photographs and visually presentation of the tutorial are done in professional manner and are visually appealing on my 24inch LCD screen. The sound is easy to listen because of Gry's clear soft spoken voice thought out the two set DVD. It flows very well from chapter to chapter in Gry’s tutorial since you are building off other techniques you learned from the earlier parts of tutorial. You know the learning to walk before you run approach to learning. I even like the choice of music used.

But I not a retoucher and have no desire to become one. I am a photographer looking to improve his PS skills and Gry's help me quite a bit here. Another important point I like to make, I am using some of Gry’s techniques beyond the fashion/beauty I shooting I do. It could be landscapes, cityscapes photographs where some of the same techniques I learned are used in this type of subject matter.
