FREE Photoshop 6 Training CD's !!!

Hi All...

I have 4 Photoshop 6 training CD's (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, and PS 6 tryout) from Keyko Training, that I have completed, and would like to share with anyone that would like to have them...FREE !

All I ask is that you pay S/H fee ( will send & let you know how much, shouldn't be any more than a couple of bucks) & when you are done with them, post a thread offering them to anyone else that might like to use them...that person in turn do the same...and so on.

Great opp for someone that simply can't afford to pay for training CD's !!

That's quite a generous offer. I have Photoshop 7, but I'd be interested in the Intermediate and advanced CDs if someone hasn't requested them. Thanks very much even if I don't get them. Eventually, maybe I will.

Not to be an intruder here but why not send it to one and let them use it then if the other wants they can have it when the first one is done? Kind of a library system of exchange.

Just a suggestion.

Day of The Intruder !!!

Hey Dj...

That's exactly what the the intent is...an instructional lending library to be passed along to whoever needs it.

"Knowledge is Power !" ...and if it's free, so much the better

Or simply illegaly copy and send them to the other person - did I say that? strike me down - I am of course joking in the most serious state

A very generous offer and a mighty lofty intention as well, thanks Hippy, because of you, people are hogging my work

Hope those lucky recipients get as much out of it as Hippy obviously has done

Ed,

Maybe you've started a thread that will lead to an education library. That is really cool in the highest degree. Thank you again for your generosity. I've e-mailed my address to you.

Okay, T's next in line. I'm sure you'll be rewarded in one way or another for sharing. It wasn't too long ago, I sent a CD of PhotoDeluxe to one of the members, and look what I'm getting in return! I just had the CD collecting dust, and she had a use for it. Best deal I've made in quite a long time.

I'm wondering if we should set some kind of a time limit on the use of the CDs so others can get the chance to use them?

AH,

Great idea and I have already talked to Ed...age before beauty and all so he gets them first. JK ED!

I'll be happy to pass them on once I get them from Ed to whoever wants them next!

Sjm,
Those training video CDs are usually demonstrated using a Mac since it's the top dog in the graphics world, but like the Quick Time movie tutorials you get online they usually give you PC short cuts along with the Mac shortcuts which makes them adaptable to both.

SJM or Danny,

She should be done with them by the time Photoshop 8 comes out. Just kidding of course. I'll try to get through them in a reasonably short time.

T,

Thank you. I probably don't have as much time left as you. But I want you to realize that my avatar is not really my portrait. That's my brother.

AH,

The check's in the mail.

Ed

I feel the same Peter, I would love them but being in Australia I think it's too far away. But it's great that there are so many generous people here at Retouch Pro.

Aussie Friends

Last I heard mail still goes to Australia...so, whoever has the CD's now might want to get in touch with Sanda and Peter and put them on the waiting list.

Thanks, guys...and I hope that you all are getting some use out of the training CD's.

Thanks once again AH and yes we do have snail mail in the antipodes and I would like to offer at least the cost of postage but need to know how to get my snail mail address onto the list. I can forward them onto Sanda afterwards no problem.

I still have the CDs. Two people decided they didn't want them and another couldn't use them because they are for a PC. I sent a PM to platscha for a mailing address, but haven't received a reply as yet. Send a PM to me with your address, and if I don't get a reply from platscha, I'll find out about shipping costs for you. Then you can decide if you want them or not.

Okay, I got it. If you look at the bottom of this post, you'll see a "PM" link. That will take you to the PM window with the address already filled in. Or you can click on the "profile" link (also found at the bottom of this message). From there, you will see an option to send an e-mail (if that person has accepted that option) or a private message. Also, if you receive a PM, you can scroll down just a little, then you'll find a "Reply" button.

Patsy,
Now that you got your message across. Just a word of warning. If I were you, I would delete the address from the message. These forums are open to anyone, not just the wonderful people who converse back and forth here. It's easy to let your guard down and feel comfortable because you're among friends but anyone can see your address and on the world wide web that's not always a good idea. Just a helpful suggestion. Apart from the moderator or Doug, you're the only one who can go back and delete that part.

Since Ed has explained the private messages so well, I hope this helps you in the future. Hope you enjoy the CDs.
DJ

cd's

There is a Peter Booth from NZ that has requested them after me, so I would assume you could contact him to send to you when he has seen them.
This is fun and much better than a scavenger hunt, how interesting to see everywhere they travel.

To Contact Members

For contacting members it's best to give them a private message or e-mail them through the Retouch Pro link.

Every time a member posts a message on the forum you will see several black buttons below each post. To send them a private message just click on the button with the PM on it.

Or if you would rather e-mail them directly just click on the button that says Profile. That will bring up the members profile and you will see an option to contact them. The top option is an e-mail and the lower one is for private messages. I personally recommend e-mail as private messages can go a long time unseen if that member doesn't visit the site regularly.

If the member you want to contact doesn't have a visible post, you can go to the fly out menu and click on Members. The members names are accessable alphabetically or by most posts, date joined or even choose advanced search to locate a specific user name. There's also an alphabet letter you can choose if you know the first letter of their user name but not sure of the exact spelling for a search. When you click on a member's name their profile will come up giving you access to contact them.

This is basically a repeat of Ed's instructions.

Hi all!

I have an extra copy of series 2 tape number 9, TEXT & LAYER EFFECTS from Deke McClelland TOTAL TRAINING TAPES I would be glad to let circulate. On the down side it is for PS5.5. but some of the info is similar to later versions. Plus it's free. Let me know if anyone is interested.
