FWIW, whenever I find a book on Amazon that I want to purchase, I'll check bookpool.com for the same book (just enter the ISBN # in the search field). Bookpool sells the same book for $30.50, compared to Amazon's $34.99. Unfortunately, Bookpool was also out of stock but they usually restock relatively quickly.

Bookpool is a great site to check for technical books, so check 'em out to compare prices.

And no, I don't work for Bookpool! Someone recommended them one day to me, and I've ordered from them in the past.
