Thanks very much for the tip. Do you know if the freebies are for the complete course, or do they only allow you to check out one lesson? I was looking at the Advanced Photoshop Applications, and the course consists of 9 lessons.

Thanks for letting us in on this cool opportunity. Even if it's basics and you feel you're beyond that, I find that you still come away with some things you didn't know so it's worth checking out.

Thanks for the tip Debbie. I've been kind of laying off the Photoshop recently but now I'm looking for something to jumpstart my enthusiasm again. This will do it.

Take care,
Margaret

Thanks, Debbie! I signed up for the Advanced class because there are some things in PShop 6 that I haven't gotten around to learning yet, and the classes might get me to do my homework.

Thank you Debbie. I'll enroll for the advanced, and hope it isn't *too* advanced.

I think Doug might have to set up a library room for us.

You didn't miss much on the first lesson Debbie. Not much at all. I didn't even have to study!

I got an 80, gotta study harder next time.
At least this one has some meat to it. I also signed up for wireless networking. That is more like a 9 week commercial for HP. The other was first website. That one looks like it will have some good info. But If the PS one does what's promised it might give me somehting new. The people I heard about it from spoke very well about the last offering.

Did everyone finish their assignments, pass their quizzes, and complete their course? I did. I did learn some things, so it was worthwhile even though it was not very thorough.

I still have to do the last lesson, but it was worthwhile to take the class. For the price, you can't go wrong. While the course didn't go into many of the things I was hoping for, it did touch on a few things I didn't know. Thanks again Debbie, for passing the information on.

I have to do the last class as well. I agree with you. For a free course it wasn't bad. A bit on the tin side, but some good info along the way. But did anyone go to the message board? My Lord, the instructor, in my opinion was one of the rudest and least knowledgeable of the bunch. I felt bad for some of the answers given to people. Talk about being afraid to ask a question. I answered what I could, in a civilized manner. And as a result we got a new member here, Ben. So in all, it was a useful course.

The impression I got was that the instructor did not know much about the course. He might know Photoshop, but he seemed lost when someone asked about particular course problems. And yes, I answered a few times on the board too. As to my username, my preference was taken, so I used a name a few people called me quite a few years back.

The course seems pretty much over but I signed up for Advanced Photoshop anyway. Assume you can still complete the lessons, take quizzes, etc. If not it's still a great chance to learn. This group is such a valuable resource. Thanks for passing on the info about the course.

I have all the lessons, quizes, and assignments on my hard drive, and since it was a freebie, I don't think there would be a problem sending it to anyone who might want it. Just let me know.
