More Colorado (USA) vistas using Corel Painter

I've decreased the resolution of some of my photos from Colorado mountains that seem to go on forever.
Taking into consideration that I'm new at this, what kind of brushes and paint would be appropriate for this kind of work in Painter X?

Re: More CO vistas

Might help if you'd post an example.

I think I figured out how to upload. If I did, this an example of what I want to work with in PainterX on auto-paint.
Guess I could have made it bigger.

Chauncy...

I got rid of the dead wood. I still see enough of it around my house after all the hurricanes so didn't want to see any more. LOL

Re: More Colorado (USA) vistas using Corel Painter

This is Colorado that hasn't changed in 200 years or longer. Those dead trees were lightning hits and at 11,000 ft. fires are rarely a problem (no oxygen). This is what I want to run through Painter.
So, what combination of brushes and paint should I be using to due these scenes justice?
