paint & brush palettes gone

Painter X - opened painter today after a hiatus and the paint and brush palettes were gone.
Trying to get them back via the windows dropdown didn't work. Any suggestions?

That is wierd. What Op Sys and computer?

I somehow lost my Sargent brush(s). No others, just Sargent and ended up reinstalling Painter.

Pressing "Tab" key doesn't help, does it?

Re: paint & brush palettes gone

"Tab" has worked in the past for temporary loss of palettes, but not this time. When I switch on the palettes from the window dropdown menu it shows "hide" telling me that the palettes are "show".
Guess I'm going to have to un/reinstall later in the week.
