Need help Creating a style button

I have a background image of 0's and 1's (see below) and I would like to create a style button so that when I click the style button, the text I created, it will stylize the text with the image.

Hi Larry,

... give me a picture that's broken, scratched, stained..etc. ... and I'll work on it until I drop dead... Ask me to 'create' something ... and I'm completely lost ....

Try this, Edit/Define Pattern/Pattern name. Click create new style at the bottom of the style pallet. Enter the name of your pattern/OK.
