PHIL: Truman: aka "Visual Eyes." Sorry bout the confusion; didn't mean to send you on a fruitless hunt.

FRANK:

I applaud your determination. Glad you got the upload to work.

It was definitely worth it! Hope to see more of your creations in the future.

Hey Philip:

I recognized you right off. There are quite a few regulars from the "other" forum here - some using the same tag - many are not.

In answer to your question about technique, I will post another reply later - as I actually made a few notes this time, but I don't have them near this PC.

Nice to see you around here as well.

Best
Toad

Try something different.

Just trying to get away from filters.

Frank:

Excellent example of creative exterior framing and using frame sections to define the subject. Who needs filters?

Definitely an inspiring "way outside the box" approach.

Nicely done.

Watercolor or Mistake?

Frank, that's a nice treatment, both innovative and attractive!

This is probably best described as a watercolor, but it's really just the end result of overworking a picture then salvaging it by making it more abstract.

Frank -- creative approach -- nicely done!

Phyllis -- I'm with the rest of them -- love it! The lighting of the butterfly is especially beautiful.
