Craig - you definitely have a creative eye, and a distinctive way of looking at things. If male tigers could play pinball, I'm sure this is what it would look like!
Great execution of a very different point of view!!

I have a litter of kittens, they were born mothers day weekend. (anyone want one? ) They're starting to play just like these two kitties!

Thanks Swampy!

I did most of this image in Painter, first I opened it in Photoshop and increased the saturation, then on to painter where I used the Camel Impasto cloner brush, I varied the size and opacity of the brush. Then back to Photoshop where I opened TM texture 121 file (which I think you can get here) and dragged it into the image, put it one layer below the tigers and set the blending mode of the painted tigers layer to hard light.

It lost some of the detail when I posted it here, you can see more detail here

You wouldnt want a kitten would ya?

thanks Dee Dee, CJ

fun to do these. might not be 'art' in the truest sense, but if i can get a smile then it's worth it

the hard part was finding a picture of a pinball machine set at the right angle to line the tiger up.

elleth, very nice and i'd love a kitten, but i'm away from home every so often and i just hate leaving cats or dogs alone or with someone else how bout some pictures of the little furballs?

Craig

Okay.. I've reworked this file thanks to tips from Elleth. I have sooooo much to learn about Painter! But it's so much fun exploring.

Painter IX, Fine Round Gouche cloner brush for the tigers, sponge for grass and rock and shadow. Tigers, rock, and grass on separate layers. Saved as a PS File.

In PhotoShop, I applied some "wool texture" to the tigers, rough concrete texture to the rock. Blurred the grass and did an ambient light lighting filter on the grass layer (no texture). Added a teeny touch of bevel/emboss to the tigers and the rock layers.

Lastly did a curves adjustment on the grass layer to help pop the whites.

oh, i like that overall effect, dee dee. could you maybe bring the tigers out a bit more? a bit more saturation maybe on them alone?

Your wish is my command...

It does add to the "pop" factor. :-)

Thanks, Craig

Caravagio Watercolor.

Used Paint Engine and Xero's Caravagio filter to create this one. Some saturation/color adjustments too.
