Our cat ate all her friends. Nice to see Jack & Jake getting along. This version was done in PaintEngine.

I have been a Retouch Pro lurker for a while. Was doing a search one day and found it. So many good ideas and resources here.

Not an accomplished digital painter, but am workiing to develop better skills. It's such a fun area. Here's my first attempt. I gave Jake and Joe a smudge treatment, fixed up their foreground and background and overlayed a texture. It was fun.

If I made a mistake and nothing shows up please let me know. thx

Janet

Took out a lot of the red (not on the lovely red cat...) Added eye highlights. Applied Topaz Simplify. Added some texture in photoshop.

Appreciate the comments Canna. When I get into the mood, I do enjoy creating tessellations.

Re: PHOTO ART: Mini-challenge #64 – Jake and Joey

Thanks Craig. Hope Santa made you happy this year. I got enough to get the CS5 upgrade which I do plan on buying before the end of the year (may even do so tomorrow). Might even do an edit or too using it before going back to GIMP. lol
