Re: PHOTO ART: Mini-challenge #150 – Wine and Rose
Hi All
Been lurking for a while, picking stuff up and suchlike, but saw this photograph (which is stunning) and couldn't resist a shot! Consequently, this is my first post.
Playing with Art History Brush with a few filters thrown in for good measure, all a bit higgledy piggledy really and nowhere near as expert as many on here, but hey....we live and learn and all that...
Congratulations on a great forum by the way!

'Tis done, didn't take last night as it was saying there was already one on there, but guess I just needed a reboot...power cut saw to that, and was able to upload one this time!
Thanks for the welcome...looking forward to contributing a bit more and getting in on some of the challenges...
Re: PHOTO ART: Mini-challenge #150 – Wine and Rose
Ok. I had some time to kill when I found the minichallenge. Usually don't use the filters much so I thought I'd give it a try.
1) Adjusted contrast with a curveslayer.
2) Decreased saturation.
3) Dodged & burned a bit.
4) Flattened the picture
5) Created 4 duplicates of the backgroundlayer.
6) Applied following filters (one filter per layer) Underpainting, Dark
Strokes, Crosshatch and Dry brush.
7) Adjusted the opacity of the layers.
