OK; this is real cool Palms; converted mine to a globe. Started my using the AC that I posted originally. Sorry for the artifacts, but I wanted to keep the transparancies so I saved it as PNG (Neuqant for higher quality).

Seeing as how I removed the fractal programs from my PC bcs they were too addictive and I gave up the kaleidoscope groups at Flickr for the same reason ... you KNEW I couldn't stay away from this.

Amazing Circles indeed...

Forgot how fun these are. Thx for shaking the tree, Palms.

Saw the potential and wrote an action under PS CS3 to simplify the steps. Takes about 15 seconds and works on any size image, any PPI.

The action should work with PS7 and later, but I am unable test on a Mac or other versions of PS.

e-mail me if you would like to test the action before I upload for general availability.

Nice one Danny
Have you thought of starting a blog with your actions so that they are all in one place ?

By the way if you want to know how i made the hoops follow the tut for teardrops but when it says to increase the canvas so that the circle is at the bottom, make it so that the circle is in the middle, then remove the solid inner bit
