Intro and question re: embellishment

Hi,

I wanted to introduce myself - but Danny beat me to the punch by his gracious post about my website - thanks so much!

I'm wondering about how many of the artists here work on their canvases after they're printed - doing embellishment with gels, acrylics, leafing, etc? I've been working with this for the last several months, and it's so much fun - definitely a way to extend the creative process, and create an one of a kind piece of art. I'd love to hear if and how anyone here is working with embellishment.

Enjoyed looking round your site, you do lovely work.

Having absolutely no artistic talent myself I tend to avoid any type of work that requires it, however I'm sure I've seen members here posting about the type of thing you're asking about.

Hopefully one or two of them will reply.

Just also looked around your web site some lovely work there, as for your question on embellishment I have never printed any work onto canvas let alone thought of adding to that, It is something i would like to see, unfortunately i dont think it would be that good on a pc monitor, still a thought for the future
