| | | Nice gallery with some tuts I found this page on flickr and fell in love with the still life photo's there and the technique used
The photographer has put a page of tuts there, which i am trying to crack ( they do look relatively simple ) by tutorial i mean there is a before and after with a shot of the layers palette, I get the impression there is a language barrier but here is a link to the page of tuts http://www.flickr.com/photos/6099168...7594426579515/
and here is one for making a background ( i have done this one ) It is one of those why hadnt i thought of it before. http://www.flickr.com/photos/6099168...7594426579515/
Take a look around see what you think, If you have a go at a tutorial let us know how you get on Post your results
and if you find some good textures to try put a link up in the library

| | | Re: Nice gallery with some tuts Thought i would show you my first attempt, i colorized a texture to pink set the blend mode to soft light and duplicated this layer, not too bad i think
I have added some photo's incase you wanted to have a try, I know they are nowhere near the same caliber but ok for messing around with ( i havent done levels etc, I cant do all the work )

Thanks for giving us some of your work to play with -- you're always very generous.
I have been "meaning" to do some still life camera work, but haven't -- hopefully this will inspire me to do some and then to have fun with something new in Photoshop. |

Down side is there's another hour or two gone.
And i have no problem sharing, it is more that i foist my photo's onto members, In the end it is free practice for us all
