Digital art magazine

This magazine was referred to in different thread so i thought i would post it here so that more of us could get to see it

If my understanding is right it is a new magazine and so will grow as time goes
In this edition there is a interview with Marilyn Sholin and John Kraft
It is in pdf format and is free ( the sort of price we all like)

I believe TimO neil is the author and also a member so maybe he can pop along and explain things ( especially if i have got them wrong )

Re: Digital art magazine

Palms-

Thanks for starting a thread about digital paint magazine. You are right in that it is a new magazine with the premiere issue being Aug. The Sept issues is out next week. The magazine is virtual only and is free. I have two different blogs there a radio channel that is being rolled out for podcasts and a classified area as well.

We do free webinars on occassion and should have plenty of free content as we move along. I love to talk to people so there is always an interview or two as well as some tutorials of some sort.

next issue we talk with John Derry, Karen Bonaker, photshop guru and hall of famer Mark Cialdini and traditional media artist Bruce Burkholder.

Always open to suggestions and content ideas.

if you hit the blog there is a group digital paintout project using Facebook profiles. Also a contest this month for a free copy of Corel Painter, contest revealed in the mag in a few days but it will be around who refers the most people to opt-in to the magazine.

Hi Tim,

Welcome to the world of free ezine publishing! ;-) That's a nice start.

I met Marilyn at Photoshop World last year, as well as the Corel (Painter) folks. Nice bunch, great product.

Looking forward to upcoming issues from you!

Re: Digital art magazine

Hey Danny,

The interviews are one of my favorite things to do because I get to talk with awesome people. Marilyn is one of my favorites, she is so upbeat and supportive of everyone. She has supported me from the first time I talked with her. Class act and brilliant, not only as an artist but as a business women and marketer.

thanks for the comment
