Impressionist plugin - getting it to work in GIMP

Can't tell you how much I wanted this (many years now). A GIMP geneous, RobA, gave me the solution to get it to work in GIMP and it worked like a champ. Same trick doesn't work for Paint Engine unfortunately. Anyway, click link below for the "how to".

Re: Impressionist plugin - getting it to work in G

You know I already do Palms; just now I don't have to copy paste between Irfanview to GIMP anymore or do it all in PS (like originally many years ago I did). I don't hate CS2; just know GIMP a whole lot better and everybody uses their crutch. As a side note, I got EyeCandy3 to work too (really didn't have to do a thing here; could have sworn that I tried this a few years back to no avail). Unfortunately, I still have to copy/paste for Paint Engine (can't win them all).
