Art History Brush Help

I made this art history brush painting some time ago, and I am having trouble recreating the same effect. In the sample the brush edges are nice and crisp.. when I try to recreate the effect the brush is too soft and mushy.. thanks

Re: Art History Brush Help

Try setting the hardness of the brush all the way to 100 percent that might give you what you are looking for. also try changing the shape of the brush using the brush pallet.
