I just had a chance to try FotoSketcher 2.0. It is very impressive and...

IT'S FREE!

To combine effects from inside the program open the Drawing Parameters panel, then:

Drawing style > Miscellaneous Effects > Merge source and result images

(See http://www.fotosketcher.com/blog.htm for an easy-to-follow tutorial on using this command.)

FotoSketcher example

Interpretation of John Lennon (for original see: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...hn-lennon.html) based on FotoSketcher 2.0.

After applying Photoshops Highlights/Shadows command, I opened John in FotoSketcher.
I was experimenting with Painting 7 settings and got this effect which I really liked...

E-mail me if you would like me to send you the custom preset as an attached file.
