Tutorial (link): Watercolor, Todd Morrison method
This is billed as a "watercolor" technique (Todd's title, not mine), but if you know anything about true watercolor paintings or have ever seen one up close, this isn't even close. That said it is an interesting method that might come in handy someday with the right image.
If you've not tried layer masks before, this tutorial does a good job of illustrating their value and how to use them.
This tutorial is in PDF format, so you'll need Adobe Reader (formerly Acrobat) to open it. I would suggest you right-click on the link below and choose "Save Target as." This will download the file to your computer, then open/read it from there.
