Software: Face Filter

While it doesn't do the age progression/regression that I'd like, it does do some neat things. Check it out. (Nothing that can't be done with regular PSP or PS, but neat anyway.)

My thoughts:

The deglossing is fairly effective.

Even on its lowest setting the skin smoothing is really very strong.

The suntan effect is good but as it's only applied to the face and not to any other areas of skin in the photo it's of limited use (if they marketed their suntan as a separate and cheaper plugin I might actually buy it).

Some of the "expression" settings are effective on some images.

Overall, it's quite fun to play with but no way would I pay the amount they are asking for it. In fact I'd be unlikely to use it even if it were free. I do, however, (having once attempted something vaguely similar myself) appreciate the programming effort that has clearly gone into it.
