Talking Wanted...GOOD LOVIN'

I met this fella this morning a snapped his pic. Looks as if he would like some cheering up!!

Please help brighten his day.

I used the extraction commmand to seperate the pup and arms/hands from the background.

Ran H/S on the background with the colorize box checked. Then added crosshatching.

On the foreground layer I applied a drybrush and used an overlay blend.
Duplicated the foregound and blended with hard light and ran crosshatch filter.

I don't remember how I set opacities and there were some misc. adjustment layers.

Aww, such a cute little poochie-coo. Thanks, cardmnal.
For my pic i first did a ps7 sketch on the dup, and also a separate photocopy layer, diff blends. Opened in painter and cloned (clone image- original) with an acrylic brush on a separate layer. Gel-blended. Merged. Tweaked some more in Photoshop.

Jaykita, outstanding work.

Neve, a beautiful piece.

You two have inspired me to tackle this project again...now if I can just find some time.
