The Mimosa is blooming

I thought I'd take a picture of the gorgeous blossoms on this wicked little tree that grows in the Ozarks (and elsewhere). Have fun playing with the fluffy little blossoms before they are gone for another year.

WOW Neve. Great stuff.

Here is mine. It is a combination of Impressionist Cloner, Den's Funky Chunky, and Impasto, then back to Photoshop for texture and embossing.

very nice, neve, janet!

but, you reminded me of one of my favorite animals, the very rare pink mimosa porcupine. thought i'd post a picture of it, even though it is a bit off topic

Seems like everone's having fun... I want some too

Big Painter cloned oily brush strokes for colour and background;
High pass sharpened luminosity blended in the middle;
Radial lighting overlay.

Tried to create a Mimosa Samosa but you'll have to settle for this. Thought I'd play with some standard stuff like spherize and ocean ripple. BTW Ro, luv the colors.

cheers
Dave

WOW Ro. Awesome!

And Duv, I love the ripples. It gives just the right whimsical touch.

Double wow Ro and Dave. Beautiful work.

I thought try a montage. I used several photos and used different blending modes. I added texture and letters and a paint dab filter.
