Great shot from a moving boat, Dawn! Thanks for posting it so we could play.

I made a layer from the Blue channel, applied a levels adjustment layer to it to remove most of the midtones and fine tuned with Thresholds to get this stark BW look.

FWIW - this was a completely accidental result. I had no idea when I started that this is where my flailing would take me.

Lighting effect/Lights up. Dupe L2
L2 – AIM/USM – erased to show sky
Merged All - Smudged sky and clouds
Lighting Effect/Sunburst
NL – fill with gradient/Mode-Burn
