Thanks, guys, for the kind words. I've regretted putting the words to the song on the picture because I can't get it outta my mind now!!!

Dbuckle, that's really nice. I have a PC, so I can't use Studio Artist, so I'm a little envious. Welcome to the forum.

Great image to paint, Catherine! Scarborough Fair is a lovely song, i know it too, btw Interesting you should think of it for this image. Seems to suit it.
Kiska, your creation is simply gorgeous, and would grace any wall!
Palms, very nice illustrative effect. Dbuckle, very nice watercolor effect.
Good work everyone.
Mine was with painter ix, first the kpt filter - pyramid paint effect, and then cloned over with an oil pastel brush.

Harp Spell

I tried to show that she is connected to the others even though she seems alone. Her audience is behind her back .

Pierre, your soft, glowing colors give this a magical effect. I just keep looking at it

pierre,

once again i'm reminded of disney. when i saw your image in the thumbnail, i thought for sure i was going to be seeing dwarves and even when i opened the full image i was almost, at first, sure i was seeing snow white and the 7 dwarves very nice.
