| | | This is a great bird! I just had to do something patriotic with him
Touchup cloning, added some shadow to his left side. Set a flag background.
I really wanted to caption it with something Pattonesque, but some here might be offended by his colorful language. <wink> |

| | | Don't get many Bald Eagles at Sutton Bank (0 at last score), get a few Buzzards, wondered what it'd look like.
BG posterised a little more than I'd like getting under 100K. |

| | | Nice composition, Gary! I see you flipped the eagle so that he'd make better "eye contact" from the right side of the page. It's those little things that make a big difference.

| | | Thanks Swampy,
Yes, also the light in the BG was from the left, so needed to flip eagle to keep it consistent.
I should really have resized BG before I pasted eagle in, as there is a discrepency in the resolution of BG and Eagle (did a graduated blur on BG to try and hide it) that's a bit more noticeable in the PSD version (although the sky looks better in that version).
Still, this was just a quick job done for a bit of fun, so I'm not going to beat myself up too much.
Look forward to seeing some more takes on this one, I enjoyed your use of the flag, and Panpan's comic interpretation, not to mention the more artistic renditions of Kiska and Palms (I can never get my paint effects to look right). |

| | | Re: eagle eye While searching the older threads, I came across this and thought I must have another go at that one. Then I realised That I hadn't posted anything in the first place, very remiss of me.
