Creative interpretations: Andy's House

Photo by Andy Lo, who retains the copyright. Photo provided by Mike Warren. (Thanks, Mike.)

Quote:
This is one of the many great shots my son's friend, Andy Lo, took while in Europe. Andy calls this "A house on the way to Acropolis."
For a hi-res version: http://www.mikedubu.com/andys_house_900.jpg

IMPORTANT
* Mike is compiling entries into a pBase gallery.
* He requests the following file name format

iiiV where iii = your initials and V = a version number.

for example

djr1-Andys-house.jpg - your first interpretation
djr2-Andys-house.jpg - your 2nd interpretation should you choose to do > 1

- - - - - -

So, have fun!

~Danny~

I am learning how to use Studio Artist. I used some cloners, but then went back to Photoshop and smudged, saturated color, and then added texture.

All works presented here - are fine! All members of a forum have done huge work, doing paintings. These works are unique! Everyone has the unique style to paint this picture. I love all your works for your individuality! Drach, ref: Creative Portraits: The Face: you have done it with one layer. But, even your work with one layer looks excellently! Try to play with 5 layers, also.
Thanks!

Alexander

Corona, actually the first picture is using 5 layers
But I guess you're talking about the 2nd picture which is using one additional layer instead of one in total for the effect. I really couldn't live without at least one additional layer per picture

DOH! Just so you don't wonder, it's veeery early in the morning and I was using Naburi's PC without switching the account. --> Drach here <--

Vincent

Decided to try my hand at creating an impressionist style. It's called Vincent, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
